New Name for My Print Shop!

March 13, 2019

After a fantastic launch over Christmas for my Etsy shop, Advent Art Collection, I have spent the past several months creating new products and a clearer mission. Since the new images and series will not be related to the Advent season, I wanted to have a name that was more fully encompassing of the work I am creating. This is why I decided to change the name from Advent Art Collection to Evergreen Reflection.

A friend suggested using the name Evergreen a while back, and it has stuck with me ever since. Not only do I live in Minnesota, where evergreens shine proud through the snow each winter, but the strength and consistancy of the evergreen made a beautiful metaphor of hope for me.

“Like an Evergreen, Hope continues through the chill of Winter to the warmth of Spring.”

With the launch of Evergreen Reflection, I have begun a newsletter along with daily inspiration for the Lenten season. When you sign up for the newsletter, you can also choose to receive writing and images to guide you through Lent. They are short and along with an image, consist of a mix of various quotes, poetry, and hymns from diverse historical figures, prayers, scriptures, and devotions. The themes that are explored revolve around renewal, love, peace, and hope. You can view an example of the email here. I’m so happy that my husband Peter is also contributing reflections he has written for specific days.

Sign up for the newsletter and/or the Lenten reflections through this link. Be sure to check “Lent” to receive the daily emails this month.

Lastly, I will be releasing a new series on my Etsy shop in the next week or two of prints to guide you through Holy Week. I will announce their release through my newsletter along with a special discount code!

Welcome friends, to Evergreen Reflection!

With Love,

Whitney Leigh Carlson
